Summer of 2011 will have many changes for our small family. Adam pursued a new job that is moving our family to McKinney, Texas. Starting June 1, he is working for Traxxas. And if a move isn't a big enough change already, we are expecting a baby girl due July 19. Alexa already loves "baby sister"! We feel strongly that God has been clear on His plans for us and that makes us so excited for what is in our near future. As we are (sadly) leaving many amazing, amazing friends and family in Kansas, we felt it was important to start the blog back up so we can keep everyone in the loop. Thank you all for your never ending support on this adventure for our growing family!

Birthday Pictures

Ok, finally, I'm posting pictures from Alexa's birthday weekend. Little girl is moving around everywhere so I can't leave her unattended for long periods of time to get this blog updated. I'll try to do better. :)

Here's the new 2-year old opening presents with Grandma Munsch.

Birthday Time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXA (well, 2 days ago...) We didn't do anything too exciting on Alexa's birthday. Poor little girl was sick. Not sure if it was from medicine, drainage from a cold, or what, but she had a rough afternoon. We took a few pictures today though because she was in a much better mood! Grandma and Grandpa Ewing got Alexa a car for her birthday and Alexa loves it. Here are some pictures of her riding in the car. This weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Munsch and Aunt Tammy are coming to visit, so we'll have more pictures next week!

Weekend with Daddy

This past weekend, Alexa went to Olathe with Daddy to visit Grandma and Grandpa Ewing and Aunt Anna. They had a wonderful time and there were some great pictures!

Random Pictures

Oh, it's been too long... I know... Alexa is moving around everywhere!! YEAH!! But that means I can't leave her for too long and come update the blog. I have also been bad about taking pictures because I just sit there and watch her crawl. I still love it. She is amazing! She is making so much progress and getting stronger every day. I don't have any recent, recent pictures but I've been meaning to add pictures from the end of the summer.
-
Next week, we'll definitely have some new pictures. Little Jojo turns 2 next week!! WOW! What a journey we've had to the past two years. Alexa is just a beautiful child. She has changed so much. And lately, she's getting to be very ornery. Oh my... she has this looks she'll give you that makes me laugh every time. She scrunches up her nose and has a funny grin on her face. Hilarious!!
-
Well, enjoy some pictures!
-
Alexa loves to swing!

So cute!

This is funny... Matty is always around when Alexa is snacking. Alexa is very good at sharing... that's why our dog has put on some weight the past year. When Alexa is in her highchair, she'll be looking straight at me with a silly grin and then each hand will grab whatever she's eating. One hand goes towards her mouth and at the exact same time, the other hand reaching out to her side to drop some food for Matty. Alexa knows that she's not supposed to do that and that's why just is so sneaky and doesn't even look at the dog when she does it!

-
She still LOVES shoes! If Alexa is getting cranky and I'm trying to cook dinner or something, I'll just give her a pair of her shoes and she's happy. She'll play with her shoes more than she'll play with her toys. That's my girl!

She is crawling everywhere! She's finally (yes, I will use that word) getting into things she is not supposed to. Yeah for normal development!! ;)

-
Loving the little girl when she was sick in the hospital. Hope we don't have to see her like that again. Little miss smiley didn't smile for 4 days!

I love this picture! Here's Alexa and some of her friends at playgroup over the summer. This was her first time in a sandbox and she absolutely loved it! Next summer, we'll be finding a sandbox.
