Pigtails - First Attempt

Today, we did our first attempt at pigtails! Almost all of Alexa's hair fit, so it was fun! I will have to try it after her bath though because that's when she gets the cute curls!!

Favorite Toy!

Alexa's favorite toy came today! Thank you Grandma for ordering it. Our church has this wall toy and Alexa LOVES standing at it and playing with it at church, so we had to find one for home. I haven't put all the toys on it yet. I had to get it put together quickly so Alexa could start playing on it. It's great because she loves to stand and the height of this wall is perfect for her standing height.

Alexa and her Baby

I had left Alexa with some toys and when I came back, here's what she was doing. She had her baby doll in front of her while looking at a book, which was wide open in front. (The book is hard to see in the picture though).

Alexa likes to smile for the camera. She also likes to get up close and personal with the camera. :)

New Fun!

Look at what Alexa figured out today and she thought it was fun! I was trying to eat a snack real quick and she wasn't in a good mood to do anything else, so I just let her stand in between my legs while I ate. She found the cupboard door! She thought it was great fun to open and close. Then she figured out that if she pulled it far, she could push it shut and it would make a louder noise. Luckily my camera was in reach so I could film it a short bit. She is standing on her own and my hand is just in reach in case she fell. I was laughing and laughing when she started doing it because it made her so happy!
