Summer of 2011 will have many changes for our small family. Adam pursued a new job that is moving our family to McKinney, Texas. Starting June 1, he is working for Traxxas. And if a move isn't a big enough change already, we are expecting a baby girl due July 19. Alexa already loves "baby sister"! We feel strongly that God has been clear on His plans for us and that makes us so excited for what is in our near future. As we are (sadly) leaving many amazing, amazing friends and family in Kansas, we felt it was important to start the blog back up so we can keep everyone in the loop. Thank you all for your never ending support on this adventure for our growing family!

Winter is Here

It is COLD outside and mom hasn't taken any pictures of Alexa in a long time... so what should we do...? Here are some pictures of Alexa all cute and bundled up for this cold cold day. The wind is something else. Poor little girl was about in tears when that wind hit her face.
-
Look at me and smile Alexa...

-
Come on Alexa, now LOOK at me and smile...
-
There we go! Now let's get a close up picture...

-
Whoa! Not quite that close! :)
(Isn't she cute! Amazing BLUE eyes!!)

Gap

I'm sorry... I know it's been too long to go without posting cute pictures of Alexa. The past couple of weeks haven't been too exciting. In fact, Alexa is working on teeth 9 and 10! She starting her first premolar two weeks ago and it has been really bothering her. So we've been just trying to keep her happy and comfortable! I will get a couple pictures posted for sure before Thanksgiving. Sorry for the delay!

Zoo in November

Who goes to the zoo in November? We do! When it is 80 degrees in November in Kansas, that's pretty hard to pass up. Oh it was beautiful!! What a nice afternoon for Alexa with her mommy and daddy.
-
Here's Alexa while we were in the Rainforest. Notice that her summer clothes don't really fit her anymore...
-
Here is a picture to show how close the bear was to us. Notice the series of pictures following while we were trying to get Alexa to look at the bear...
-
Daddy is trying to turn Alexa's head so she'll see the bear. Alexa is more interested in looking and smiling at Daddy.
-
Still not look at the bear, but you can see how close it is.
-
OH! THERE'S THE BEAR!! She finally noticed him!
-
Alexa took a little nap during the trip. She looked pretty refreshed after the nap. Too bad we were in the parking lot to go home! (And like I said, Alexa has grown out of her summer clothes...)
